Heal the Healer (2 sessions) for Nurses

Service Description

As a nurse, I fully understand the joy, triumph, sadness, grief, and suffering that are inherent in what we do. We absorb the happiness, depression, and, yes, sometimes horror that takes a toll on us physically, emotionally, and spiritually. This also has been amplified by the trauma of the pandemic coupled with short staffing that has brought tears to my heart’s eyes. The visions, the smells, the sounds, and what we touch all leave a mark - an impact on how we approach life, relationships, and how we perceive ourselves and the world. Because of what we do, we just keep going and perhaps do not always realize how this impacts our state of being. Caring for ourselves is something we often put second. Nurses are healers, we are wired to put all of our heart into caring for others. That is what we do and we, well we “are fine”. Unfortunately, we are not "fine." We are human, too. We have basic needs like love, affection, and care. This time, I am here to use my nursing hat in a different healing fashion. To help you, the nurse, the healer, the caretaker. Let's change this as of today and start healing. It is time for you to develop your sense of self-care. I will guide you. I will be your teacher. I am here to offer you the truest healer of all, you.
